Spindletop Centennial 100th 2001 Coca-Cola Bottle

Texas oil drilling began in January 1901 with the eruption of an oil well drilled at Spindletop, near Beaumont, Texas. The Spindletop discovery in 1901 produced the Nation's first great oil 'Gusher.' This purple and white Coca-Cola bottle features a photo of the oilrig with 1901- 2001. Great Coke bottle depicts the start of the oil boom in Texas.
